This is caused if you don't have the necessary drivers installed on your computer. The easiest way to fix this issue is by installing the latest version of the TAP driver, which can be downloaded here:

https://swupdate.openvpn.org/community/releases/tap-windows-9.21.2.exe

Please run the .exe as administrator, and click YES when it asks you to install a driver
